Built with wood from Wyoming snow fencing, mountain laurel hand railings, West Virginia red oak flooring and walls covered with Poplar tree bark, the cabin includes a king size pillow top bed, a sleeper sofa in the living area and a beautiful futon made from birch. On those chilly nights, sit by the stone fireplace or soak in the private outdoor hot tub or enjoy a fire in the firepit along the banks of the creek.

Welcome to Brooks Cabin, named for our Brooks ancestors who acquired the property in the late 1940s. A beautiful custom built 1900s log home, newly remodeled. Hot tub, firepit, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, full bath with laundry. Surrounded by farm animals on a Working farm, you’ll have the chance to see chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, barn cats and our livestock guardian dogs. It’s only minutes from the Appalachian Trail, in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access.
