Anstee Cottage - Luxury in the heart of town

Located a short stroll from the Main Street of Mansfield, Historic Anstee Cottage was one of the first homes built in Mansfield circa 1885. It has been fully renovated and beautifully restored into a 2 bedroom luxury Victorian period cottage with your own entrance, veranda & front garden. Set in a english cottage garden with roses outside your bedroom windows for you to enjoy. A house has been built at the back of the cottage which is connected by a locked door where I live.

The cottage is self contained and set up for an overnight stay or that well deserved relaxing getaway for a few nights. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs. The house is close to the high country with beautiful views. The apartment is ideal for a small family or couple. Even though it is attached to the house it is very private. All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal.
