Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This was the home that my brother and I grew up in. This house was built with love by our Mom and Dad. We hope you can feel the warmth and love we did growing up there. We are located 1 mile from Mattamuskeet Lake, about 20 mins from the Ferry in Swan Quarter that takes you to the Island of Ocracoke. We are also 20 minutes from State Boat Acesses. If you want a Beach Day,we are only 1 hour 15 mins for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Red Fish Riviera

Come enjoy this cozy home on the back waters of the Pamlico Sound. This classic cottage built in 1848 is full of character and comfort. Nestled on an acre of land, this private home provides the perfect setting to relax and escape. Fish off the dock, walk through the back yard in the high grass and cast your line or drop a crab pot. Listen to the birds from the screened back porch. Use the canoe to get yourself to the mouth of the sound in no time. Lastly, the sunsets are amazing!

"R's Cabin" on Lake Mattamuskeet

Cozy cabin nestled on the edge of Lake Mattummuskeet. This newly constructed cabin blends in seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Large covered back deck provides a tranquil escape and endless water views. Whether you are an advent bird watcher, or drawn to be on the water there is an activity for all. The large spacious interior comfortably sleeps a group of 2 or as many as 10. Outdoor dining with gas grill and roomy decks. Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the world for a while.

Artsy Original Island Home next to Nature Preserve

Built in the 50's, located in a quiet neighborhood next to Springer's Nature Preserve, we kept the homey grandparent/ favorite auntie decor. There is a generous screened porch for entertaining and dining. The large yard is surrounded by woods and provides direct access to the Springer's Point trail. The trail is a lovely path to the waterfront on the sound-side of the island, and home to impressive live oak trees, a historic graveyard, and the site of Blackbeard the Pirate's final battle!

"River Town Cottage"

Newly remodeled 2 Bedroom home located in the small water town of Belhaven, NC. blocks away from the downtown area. This home has all the amenities to make you feel at home. Home has central heat and air. In the living area there is a TV with internet connection and a DVD player Hulu and Netflix are provided. Outdoors there is a nice open thick grass back yard with a semi-private fence and a wooden deck just out the back door, along with a propane grill for grilling your favorite foods.

Enjoy the pleasant living space with amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, AC, and heating. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. Open and airy feel to this home. Spacious rooms, sparking Gourmet Kitchen perfect for one or many cooks. Four Porches and Sundecks. One screened in porch. The views of the sky at night are remarkable. Fenced in rear yard with outdoor shower and outside sink prep area. The upper level has the great room with soaring ceilings, large living space with cozy furniture, half bathroom, card/game table, bonus room could be used as fourth bedroom with sofa-bed.
