On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. The cabin rests a pleasant 8 minute/3 mile drive away from downtown Idyllwild. The tactile rock formations visible from the main deck of the cabin are easily accessible from the main road, and only 2 minute walk from the cabin.

Less than a half a mile away from Idyllwild's town center our very family friendly cabin will be a great place for your group to stay and explore the Idyllwild area. Our remodelled camping themed cabin has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a loft play area for the kids with their own tv and camping area, and a fully fenced in yard. You can pull into our driveway, close the gate and leave the car behind as you relax in our wooded yard and deck area or take the short walk into town.
