Welcome to the pod! Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? 6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Your little bit of Hygge in Tiumpanhead, here on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Approximately 10 miles from Stornoway. Our beautiful pod has been lovingly crafted in Siberian Larch and is double insulated. We offer a hotel quality double bed. Sofa bed is NOT suitable for adults. Fully equipped kitchen, a luxury bathroom with rainfall shower. WIFI and SmartTV. 5 min walk to lighthouse and access to outstanding cetacean sightings/birdlife. Dark Skies for stargazing and Aurora Borealis.

Hebridean Bothy Pods - Uilleam Ruadh's Bothy

Hebridean Bothy Pods are a unique and comfortable stay in the heart of the Isle of Lewis. Situated 10-15 minute drive from the main town of Stornoway and 5/10 minutes from the famous Callanish Stones, this is a perfect spot to base yourself for an island getaway. With gorgeous views of peat moorlands and the Harris and Uig hills right from the deck of your pod, you may just want to stay put! The famous Hebridean Way cycle route also goes straight past our door, making it an ideal rest point!

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

Broch View: Cabin beside Dun Broch/Pet Friendly

Broch View (and it's neighbour, Loch View) is a new log cabin well-appointed to a high standard right beside the Dun Carloway broch, in the heart of the West side of Lewis attractions of Callanish Standing Stones, Garenin Blackhouse Village, the spectacular Dalmore and Dalbeg beaches,etc. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well fitted kitchen, bathroom with full size shower, double bed, and a comfortable sitting area. The cabin sits in a beautiful and historic area.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Close to Western Isles Bike route. 5 mins to shore line. 5 minutes from main road. 2 camp beds are available on request, no extra charge. Compost toilet. Fresh water in containers. No K Gas camping cooker. Water dispenser, into sinks from containers. Woodburner stove. Fuel supplied, locally cut Peat, Driftwood Shower and Toilet at Rockraven Cottage. Available till 9 pm. Request late arrival Local eating, Grinneabhat Old School. Till 3 pm No kitchen in Blackhouse

Stornoway Glamping MegaPod with Stunning Views

Black pod-inn is a luxury pod located just 20 minutes from Stornoway in New Tolsta and 0.9 miles from stunning Tolsta beach( Traigh Mhor) and Garry beach. This well presented ‘small home’ is light, airy from a kitted out kitchen, full size shower room and a comfoartable seating area with TV, Wi-Fi,bluetooth surround sound system. It has a double bed and 2 single beds. Please note; the facility is ideal for a family of four, it is not designed for four adults

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.
