Atop the Blue Ridge close to Harper’s Ferry and Virginia wine country this airy retreat overlooks the idyllic Shenandoah. Our two-person soaking tub on a magnificent deck, huge firepit, gorgeous vintage interior, grand piano, and warm pine ceiling and floors, give you the perfect place to get away from city life for a bit. Full kitchen. Two bedrooms plus a big couch that could sleep someone else in a pinch, and a cozy little fireplace top it all off! Just steps to the Appalachian Trail.

Firefly Hill Farmhouse

This historic farmhouse has space for everyone, even the pups! The house was built in 1873 and owned by the same family for five generations. Newly renovated, its situated on a former working farm adjacent to a small historic town. There are many attractions in short driving distance and parks & eateries in walking distance. A large yard with a fire pit, grill, and hammock are part of the property. Close to Frederick, Washington, D.C., Harpers Ferry, Antietam, and South Mountain.

Spruce Run Cottage, Farm stay on Catoctin Mountain

The cottage is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain off Highway 17 near Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C. The cottage faces the woods and the private drive down to the creek. There is almost zero light pollution at night so stargazing is incredible from the balcony. The hosts live on the property up the hill in an 1890’s chink log cabin. Although you can see our house, the cottage feels very private and is a quiet comfortable retreat in the hills.

The Shady Bear Cabin

After a complete renovation, we decided the cabin would be perfect for Airbnb. It's completely separate from the main house and offers both of us a great deal of privacy. It is also warm and cozy yet extremely comfortable. Please be aware that we have dogs on the property. If you are not comfortable with dogs, please do not book this cabin. If you are, we hope to see you. DURING THE PANDEMIC WE WILL BE FOLLOWING AIRBNB'S ENHANCED CLEANING PROTOCOL.

Great location in historic downtown Frederick, with parking for one car on the premises! Private first floor apartment, large living room with large TV, bedroom with very comfortable king size bed, new television, and plenty of closet space. House has historic charm, located on the edge of Frederick's historic downtown and very close to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Photos don't do it justice, space is larger than it appears, new paint in kitchen.
