Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

Welcome to Wharehine Farm Cabin, a cosy off-grid cabin with luxurious touches nestled in the rural community of Wharehine. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling farmland and the coast. Relax watching the endless stars from the outdoor bath or enjoy reading a book and glass of wine snuggled on the couch. Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Kapia Lodge - Luxury waterfront

Kapia Lodge is perched on the edge of the cliffs at Pouto, offering breathtaking views of Kaipara Harbour. Secluded and private, it's the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway. Tara Valley Cabin

A boutique, sun-drenched and special hideaway set on 5 acres of permaculture tranquility. Your own three private cabins are nestled near 800 year old trees and joined with decks and pathways for you to wander and discover your bath. The bedroom opens out to a covered deck, and the full kitchen has a covered area with a large outdoor dining table and gas BBQ. Up the steps to the bathroom with a fresh, waterless, European electric toilet. Close to nature, beaches, markets, walks, cafes and fun.

Tui & Nikau Mangawhai - Charming 2 bedroom cabin

Tī Kōuka Cabin is a charming two-bedroom property with tranquil surroundings and is thoughtfully designed for relaxation and convenience, perfect for couples, families, or small groups. Sleeping six comfortably, it features a queen bed, two extra-long singles, and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Enjoy modern comforts including a Smart TV with Netflix, high-speed WiFi, EcoStore products, and shared guest laundry. Step onto your private deck or let the firepit set the scene for a BBQ dinner.

Luxury Mangawhai Heads Cabin & 2nd b/rm option

Welcome to Casa Nostra (our house). Our luxurious cabin with separate 2nd bedroom option with 2 beds, an extra cost of $30 pp per night. 2nd bedroom has a sauna that you can use. Ideal place to enjoy the countryside. 4 kms from beaches, restaurants', cafes', skate park and much more you will be entertained and then return to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy afternoon drinks and view on the deck while soaking up the country atmosphere. Pets neg. Not fenced. Hosts house nearby.

Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Little Forest of Kai - Eco Cabin

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the heart of a food forest. Bananas, blueberries, figs, pomegranates and a cornucopia of other organic edibles may just be ready for you to sample off the tree, and 2km down the road there is the most beautiful white sand beach where you can swim, spearfish, snorkel or just relax. Situated close to Parua Bay village and Whangarei Heads offering heaps to do, or if you prefer to just chill in the cabin, you have complete privacy for that.

Riverside Studio

Welcome to the Riverside Studio from where a short stroll takes you to the Town Basin marina with cafes, shops and restaurants and the Hundertwasser art center and park. Maybe you fancy a walk around the Town Basin loop. Beautiful native bush walks up Parihaka from where you can enjoy sweeping views over the city and Whangarei Harbour or along the Hatea River, are on your door step. For a bigger work out you can keep going, via A.H. Reed park, right up to the Whangarei falls.

Cosy cottage close to town

The cottage is set in a country style garden, surrounded by trees and creeks you won't feel like you are just 5 minutes from the town. The local shops are very close providing a dairy, bakery, pizza, fried chicken and Chinese fish n chips takeaways. Whangarei CBD is a direct 6 minutes drive, you'll reach the Town Basin with numerous cafes, The Hundertwasser art museum & loop walk along the Hatea river. Whangarei Falls, Whangarei Heads and the Tutukaka Coast an easy reach must see!

Unique western style cabins Waipu Caves

Go back in time, at this unique and tranquil getaway. Offering bush, valley and sunset views and big sky country for star seekers. Available for 2 guests, (2 extra guests on request only @$50 per adult, $30 per child, please enquire first) you have the choice of 2 cabins, each with a queen bed. Take your pick on arrival! The famous Waipu Caves near the bottom of the property can be accessed by foot or by car via the driveway. Beaches and Waipu village are around 20mins drive.
