Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Situated close to Parua Bay village and Whangarei Heads offering heaps to do, or if you prefer to just chill in the cabin, you have complete privacy for that.

Try out tiny house living in our wee cabin with a spacious deck for chilling out on after a day out enjoying what the surrounding areas have to offer. 8 Minutes to Mangawhai village and 8 minutes to Kaiwaka makes this the ideal spot to take time out from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. Enjoy the local wineries, beaches, walks and markets. Plenty to enjoy. Walking distance to the Hakaru RSA, Pony club and the iconic Hakaru Hall.

Riverside Studio

Welcome to the Riverside Studio from where a short stroll takes you to the Town Basin marina with cafes, shops and restaurants and the Hundertwasser art center and park. Maybe you fancy a walk around the Town Basin loop. Beautiful native bush walks up Parihaka from where you can enjoy sweeping views over the city and Whangarei Harbour or along the Hatea River, are on your door step. For a bigger work out you can keep going, via A.H. Reed park, right up to the Whangarei falls.

Cosy cottage close to town

The cottage is set in a country style garden, surrounded by trees and creeks you won't feel like you are just 5 minutes from the town. The local shops are very close providing a dairy, bakery, pizza, fried chicken and Chinese fish n chips takeaways. Whangarei CBD is a direct 6 minutes drive, you'll reach the Town Basin with numerous cafes, The Hundertwasser art museum & loop walk along the Hatea river. Whangarei Falls, Whangarei Heads and the Tutukaka Coast an easy reach must see!
