Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

This recently renovated, spacious studio is the perfect base to explore everything Whangarei Heads has to offer. Pristine beaches, snorkeling, diving, surfing, & stunning walks for all levels of fitness are just a short drive away. Soak in the sensational views and the peaceful surroundings. It is especially lovely relaxing on the deck as the sun sets. Perfect for a couple or small family- floor mattress on request. It's a short walk to the shops and a 25-minute drive to Whangarei town basin.

Wild Forest Tin Box - Off the Grid Eco Retreat

Above the forest. Under the Milky Way. A converted shipping container just above the tree line. We'll take you up through the forest in our golf cart. Completely off-grid. A queen bed, 100% linen, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a covered deck with a fire pit, hammock and Cape Cod chairs. Rain is never a reason to go inside. At night, with no light anywhere nearby, the Milky Way is complete. The outdoor bath puts you under all of it. You'll be soaking under the stars, above the forest.

Relax watching the endless stars from the outdoor bath or enjoy reading a book and glass of wine snuggled on the couch. Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Your own three cabins are nestled near 800 year old trees and joined with lights, decks and pathways for you to wander and discover your bath. The bedroom opens out to a covered deck, and the full kitchen has a covered area with a large outdoor dining table and gas BBQ. Up the steps to the bathroom with a fresh, waterless, European electric toilet. Close to nature, beaches, markets, walks, cafes and fun.

No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

No loud traffic noise, just hens quietly clucking, the occasional baa of sheep or a farm dog doing its work. Yet you're only 15 minutes from the city of Whangarei with its cafes and restaurants, the world-famous Hundertwasser Museum, the Clapham Clock Museum and the fantastic range of boutique shops and food outlets at the Town Basin.

This is a quintessential basic kiwi bach, absolute waterfront, stunning views, a hidden treasure with bush and beach walks, amazing fishing and diving. Our bach comes complete with everything needed for a beach holiday, weekend retreat or romantic getaway. An easy 10 minute stroll to local cafe or ten minute drive to Parua Bay cafes, 4 square and gas station and the infamous Parua Bay Tavern. Access to the Bach is down a short but moderately steep bush track(see photo).
