Karl's Haus

This is a cozy little private space located in a small Volga German community known for the St. Fidelis Catholic Church, or "The Cathedral of the Plains," built from 1908-1911. The parish was was declared a minor basilica in 2014 and is one of the "Eight Wonders of Kansas." Victoria is located approximately halfway between KC and Denver and just a mile from I-70. It's a great place to stay the night and still be able to ski the slopes of Colorado the next afternoon if that is your destination.

Stiefel Theatre Loft! #1

This wonderful, newly remodeled apartment is a part of the historic Stiefel Theatre in downtown Salina. This beautiful apartment has big windows that look out over Santa Fe. You are right in the heart of downtown, all the restaurants, shops, are just minutes away. The loft has a bedroom that sleeps two and also a West Elm sleeper sofa that sleeps two in the living room. There is a private entrance off Santa Fe, a full kitchen with microwave, espresso and coffee maker, and washer and dryer.

One block to downtown Ottawa, lots of antique shopping and dinning. Worlds oldest still running movie theater is one block way. Enjoy a beer and bbq in the same block at Not Lost Brewery. In the morning the best little coffee shop in the state is also just one block to the north, Mug Shot Coffee. Look for it in the alley.

Built in 1918 as a hotel, Luke and Julisa Haines renovated it in 2015 wanting to preserve the history of this building as much as they could while adding to it its modern amenities. The building was originally the City Hall for Ottawa. It has recently been remodeled into apartments for yearly rentals and Airbnb units for nightly stays (or long term if desired) For those who bike, hike, and/or run the bike trails are right out the door of the building.
