It is a quiet and peaceful place to stay as it is easily accessible to major sightseeing spots and there are few tourists. Please use it as a transit point for your trip. 1 hour to Tokyo by train 2 hours to Nikko by train 45 minutes to Kawagoe by car Staff will pick you up at the nearest station. Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.
