The Forest Hermitage of Turtle Haven Sanctuary

The two-story structure is located in a forest grove on several wooded acres, across the road from a view of the Nooksack River and valley. This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.
