Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. This modern cabin is located on 390 feet of the beautiful Kettle River. The river is well known for its great tubing, canoeing and kayaking. There is a gas fireplace, hot tub and WiFi. The newer hot tub can seat 6. Large expansive deck with seating. Bon-fire pit and a large gas grill. The cabin is updated and very comfortable. Linens are Pottery Barn and Kitchen Aid appliances! Washer and dryer. Seven acres of woods with deer and bird feeders for the wildlife. This cabin is amazing!!

Escape into the forest at the Ursa Minor cabin. Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

The whole group will be comfy in this spacious and unique spot in the pines. The overhead door is the only “garage” thing about it! There are plenty of activities in the area, or stay right on our nearly 15 acres of forested land to relax and walk or ride our trails through the trees. We’ve added a screen for the garage door opening. Now you can roll up the garage door to feel like you’re outside! The screen cords have been damaged so it will no longer retract, but works great down!

Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. Muskie Lake Cabin

Entire cottage to yourself with a magnificent lake view. We have 315 feet of lakeshore located on 4 acres on Island Lake. We have a private dock. Our 900 square ft cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a couch that opens up into a bed. A fire pit is available, ( wood furnished), along with a canoe and 2 kayaks You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A pontoon boat is available for rent. We will except two dogs.
