Carson's Kaloko Mountain Cabin

This rustic and cozy cabin sits on our 5 acre parcel in the cloud forest above Kona town on the Big Island, called Kaloko Mauka. It has it's own private little corner of the property, complete with secluded hot tub, yard and large lanai perfect for the bbq! One king bed in the studio, best for 2-3 adults. Loft can suit a child or two 8 years and older or another adult. There is a fold out futon with extra bedding and pillows. Loft railing is not completely protected for children under 8.

At a higher elevation, the area is much cooler and breezier than staying in town and you can fall comfortably asleep in our comfortable queen-sized bed, listening to the sounds of coqui frogs and waking up to the beautiful sound of birds. This simple retreat is a testament to minimalist luxury and offers a convenient escape near Kona International Airport and downtown Kailua Kona. The exterior of the tiny house is a harmonious blend of rustic charm and simple design, featuring a quaint porch, perfect for sipping your morning coffee or working on the computer while gazing at the pacific ocean.

Situated on the island's western side at a cool 1300ft elevation, this small cottage is suitable for two people. Privacy is the keyword. This is a quiet, clean, peaceful place with A/C. It is near the airport, town, and beautiful beaches, located in a safe, affluent neighborhood. After the lava eruption on the other side of the island in 2018 subsided, we are now thrilled to have the best air quality and blue skies since 2007!

Two full beds, full bathroom, and kitchenette right on the beach. ***Update: We are updating furniture to a new king size bed (instead of 2 beds) and a seating area with a sofa with a sleeper and modular coffee table.
