The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

McKenzie Place is located 5 minutes from Anchorage International Airport and 5 minutes from Downtown and 5 minutes from Midtown area. This Two Bedroom plus Loft (please read additional information for loft) is situated 1 block from the world famous Tony Knowles Coastal Trail that hugs the coastline of the Cook Inlet with beautiful views of the water, Anchorage skyline with moose and other Alaska animals that live in the area. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a few minutes away.

The main level features a full kitchen, living & dining areas, a bathroom with walk in shower, bedroom with a king bed & a full size washer and dryer. The upper level has an additional bedroom with full size bed, & a sitting loft overlooking the main level. Occasional airplane noise. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy studio feels like a peaceful cabin with the amenities of a home. A Queen platform bed in its private nook with custom shelving and the perfect relaxing area to enjoy your 55in smart TV. The mini kitchen features an induction stovetop, microwave toaster oven. The studio has a walk-in shower and washer and dryer. Although we are pup friendly there is a limit of 1 dog. We can't accommodate cats. Large yard but it is not fenced.
