Depandanza is a self-contained apartment with an art gallery-like atmosphere and fairytale bedroom in the heart of the traditional village of Poljubinj. Many local hikes begin at the front door, including waterfalls, gorges, and the Soca River, all within about a half hour walk. Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and pharmacies are a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) away in the town of Tolmin. The apartment offers easy proximity to a larger town with the charm and tranquility of a peaceful village

Seating areas around the house offer different beautiful views Morning sunrise, shaded south seating; but sunny in winter! Lunch/ dinner table west facing shaded by old pear tree. Dark starry nights, moonlit or Milky Way, silent or animal sounds! Village life is a 10min meadow walk. In summer a cosy traditional bar/cafe serves home-cooked food.

Just under the house you can explore amazing water grove and a waterfall, which is known as energy point. In the valley you can enjoy the beauty of emerald green Soča gorge and if you're brave enough, you can jump right in. The house is a great starting point for many hiking trips. The most popular is certainly the hike to a beautiful glacial lake Krn, under the top of mountain Krn.

It has all the features you'd expect in a home: bathroom with shower, 140x190 bed for two, kitchen with sink, fridge, and induction hob, & a comfy sofa all set in a smartly designed layout to maximize space without sacrificing comfort and convenience. It has an upstairs bedroom with big bed (180x200) and on the ground floor a sofa bed (140x200). The kitchen has all essentials appliances like dishwasher, microwave, oven, kettle. The kitchen is modern, white high gloss. There is a modern bathroom with walk-in rain shower.

Sleeping with the bees Kozjak

If you would like to spend the night in a peaceful environment, listening to the buzzing of bees and smelling the air coming from the beehive longer, we offer overnight stays in domestic apiary. Next to the large double bed in the room there are also two masks for intensive inhalation of aerosol directly from the beehive. You can safely came close to the bees and watch them through the glass floor, which offers views directly in front of entrances to the hives.
