The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Whether you seek adventure or simply want to relax, our location offers a plethora of activities to delight in, both within our estate and the surrounding areas.

wild Syringa offers self-catering accommodation sleeping 2 guests in 1 bedroom. There are two bedrooms, a lounge/dining area/kitchen area. The lounge has a fireplace. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, fridge and stove. There is a braai facility \. It has a fenced area' The cottage is off grid supplying solar power. Therefor only laptops and cell phones may be charged. No other appliances may be used.

'River on my stoep' is a well equipped self-catering cottage in the Hekpoort Valley. The wooden cabin is on the Magalies River and is surrounded by the sounds of nature - the haunting cry of a jackal and a chorus of frogs is our music at night. One of the few places that you can still see fire flies at night (in summer) A rowing boat is moored in front of the cottage, exclusively for our guests. 'Catch-and-release' fishing is permitted.

Unit 1 is a Luxury apartment suitable for 2 guests (unfortunately no children) with amazing views over the dam. There is one bedroom fitted with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with 2 showers and a Jacuzzi bath and fully equipped kitchen. The unit is not wheelchair friendly, as there is a step leading to the bathroom.
