The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, work and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. We are completely off-grid, no power or water cuts!

Hackle Lodge

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Leadwood Lodge Bush house

This is a self catering, fully airconditioned house, let as a unit, you will need to bring everything in the way of food and toiletries with you (towels and bedding are provided). We have an inverter system, to enable lighting, during load shedding. There are 2 stores, the Bush Center and Marlothi Shopping center, with fuel. You will wake up to the sounds of the bush, don't forget a good flashlight and binoculars. Free WiFi capped at 30GB. If additional data required, contact us.

Nokuthula Bush Retreat - Backup Solar

At Nokuthula (Zulu for ‘Peace’) you will have an unrivaled experience and interaction with non-predatory wildlife which roam free around the home. The house sleeps a maximum of 6 adults and 4 children under the age of 12 comfortably. There are two en-suite bathrooms and one separate bathroom. All bathrooms offer a shower, toilet and basin.
