Lakeview Cottage on The Ridge

The spacious self catering cottage has 2 ensuite airconditioned bedrooms with luxury linen and bath towels. The bathrooms, tho dated, are clean and tidy. Our commitment to being as Eco friendly as possible, linen is washed but not ironed. Our coffee bar is stocked with homemade rusks, coffee, tea, and sugar. There is also milk in the fridge. The lounge and patio area have beautiful views of the Falsebay Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped. Quoted rate is for up to 2 people, the unit can sleep 4.

Mooifontein Farm Cottage

Our Cottage is a beautiful rustic cottage on the very popular Midlands Meander Route. It is on a farm with lots of lovely open spaces and beautiful surrounding views. The cottage has a lovely warm outside shower and also a panoramic view . It is very comfortable and perfect for children and also is pet friendly for those who don't like to leave there pets at home. Our Cottage has a 1 km dirt road off the main R103,at times it can be quiet tough with a small car. Please check if you are worried

Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Yellowwoods Farm - WILLOUGHBYS COTTAGE

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on. Willoughbys has both inside and outside table/chairs & braai facilities - Weber as well as outside braai+'firepit'. WiFi and DSTV.

The Aloe house is a completely solar powered house which will not be affected by the load shedding whatsoever. You have a spectacular view of the Malungane mountain from every room of the house with its ceiling to floor glass sliding doors. their is a large fire place in the main living room to make fires during those crisp winter nights. in winter the cows calve right outside the house which can be a great insight into the farm life. sunsets over the entire Drakensberg range.

Hamstead Farm eco-friendly Cottage

Hamstead Farm Cottage is a unique, cosy, two-bedroom solar and wind-powered 80 sq m split-level eco-friendly guest house set in the grounds of the main dwelling on a small farm. There are spectacular mountain views of the Southern Drakensberg with a small stock-watering dam close by. Children can play safely in an adjoining fenced, grassed area. Sunbird Cottage is on a working farm 30km from Volksrust and Wakkerstroom Wetlands, it is a place to come and relax and recharge, we are off grid. There is great birding, walking, mountain biking and bass fishing on site, there are also kayaks for the dams. The cottage overlooks a gorge that goes down to the Slang River with an indigenous forest and has great views over the valley towards Amajuba Mountain and Battlefields for those interested in history.

Bourne View

A charming , spacious, house in the secure Gowrie Village in Nottingham Rd. Cosy in winter with a wood burner in the lounge and another in the kitchen. It overlooks a field, is peaceful and quiet and yet close to the coffee shops and eating places. A home away from home we offer comfort. The house has a separate bed sit attached , rented separately , with its own entrance. There is no entrance from the house. A cosy separate unit is offered.
