The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Amazing free standing cabin tucked away between the trees with views of surrounding hills. Enjoy the wood burning stove over a complimentary bottle of wine. Take an outside bath (private) and relax in our new barrel steam sauna (private), or watch a movie on the couch. Come with the kids or your furry friends and take them on a long hike right outside the cabin doors with wild peacocks roaming the grounds. Book a private massage on premises or do yoga on the patio. Cedar Crest

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon. (Kids sleep free) For pet owner, the east side of the cabin has a fenced-in space. We recommend you do not let them be there unsupervised as a motivated mountain lion could jump the fence and arm your pet.
