Rest and relax in your home while swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Close to the Manistee National Forest, there are many other activities to enjoy, including the North country trail. Within walking distance to two restaurants and a convenience store. Also if wanting to venture out, Manistee and Ludington are 32 miles away, Traverse city 60 miles.

Enjoy tranquility of The Whalen Lake at our cozy waterfront cottage. Spacious deck with large grill offers enough space to enjoy nature while dining outside. You can also relax on our docked pontoon boat. If you feel adventurous, we have kayaks and paddle boat to explore the lake. After long day, enjoy soaking in the hot tub. 30 minutes from Ludington, just over hour away from Grand Rapids and Traverse City. Fishing, ATV/snowmobile trails, kayaking will keep you busy all year long.

With a wide open view over the lake and an open floor plan this cottage will not disappoint. Winsome Cottage is in the heart of Baldwin, home to the Pere Marquette and Baldwin River and is situated on Whalen Lake. Stay and cast a line from the row boat, or enjoy a short commute to any local lake or stream of your choosing. Centrally located for trail riding, or hiking, this place is a great location and newly remodeled with a driveway designed for 2 cars and a trailer.
