For upscale dining Clark’s restaurant is a good choice. Bike,hike,or cook out over at Santee state park which is only 10 minutes away

Relaxed Retreat at Carolina King is a fishing and boating resort situated on Jack's Creek of Lake Marion in Summerton, SC. This is one of the most popular fishing spots in the world, proven by repeat visits from national fishing tournaments. We have acquired this resort recently and made many upgrades, most notably the customer service. If you search for reviews, please note the difference after August 1, 2024 when we took over. A cozy lakefront cottage made by family, for family. This was our parents home away from home, their favorite getaway. Now that they're gone, we want to share what they enjoyed. Traditionally constructed lake cabin with all the comforts of home. Large partially covered deck, large pier for fishing, plenty of room to bring your boat, canoes, or kayaks. Extremely close proximity to large landings where national fishing tournaments are held on Lake Marion. Prime hunting, near great hunting clubs.

Boat ramp, boatslip, and restaurant only .3 miles away. Boatslip & ramp included. Remodled to a farmhouse feel, this 3 bedroom, 1 bath has 2 king beds & two singles. Two single beds share the same space as living room. Great retreat after a long day of fishing, or hanging out with family and friends. Be back fast to unwind by the firepit.
