Our specialty is motorsports and equestrian enthusiast guests. We have high quality amenities to provide you with a great place to prepare for local events, and the peace and comfort to relax and recharge afterwards amongst the birdsong. Located in a rural stock farm setting, there is plenty of space to park a car/horse trailer and paddock space with washdown yards for horses. Only 12 minutes from Taupo CBD. The garden area is fully fenced (including the orchard) so dogs are welcome on request.

Welcome to Kaz's Retreat at Acacia Bay, Taupo

Wide Lake views over Lake Taupo to Mt Tauhara. I would love to welcome you to share my home situated in beautiful Acacia Bay. Walking distance to take a swim in the lake. Lovely double bedroom with a queen size comfy bed available. A tray of breakfast goodies will be available to you each morning. In the summer you have the use of a Webber bbq or pizza oven. Attractions incl Huka Falls, Maori rock carvings, white water rafting and more. Minimum two nights stay. I am 8km to Taupo Town Centre.

Comfortable Studio (with bonus glow worm grotto!)

The property is NZ lifestyle... with the intention to be self sufficient. A hectare of native forest shelter the house and gardens creating a totally private oasis with birdlife and magnificent views over Acacia Bay. Free range hens give eggs and an apiary in the orchard, honey. The self contained studio is downstairs with a king bed, a divan bed and ensuite. A small patio is beyond the french doors. Linen and towels are provided. Breakfasts are available, and a 3 course evening meal on request.

Beneath towering redwoods with a bush path to the lake Resting Kiwi is a generous 4 room stylish apartment . The family friendly swimming bay means you don't have to drive anywhere to enjoy a refreshing swim, paddle board or kayak The well equipped kitchenette - includes air fryer, microwave, induction element and mini oven plus you have a private barbecue patio, outside dining, and garden / lounging furniture. Walk to the fabulous bar brasserie for dinner, L'arte art cafe, and nearby bays.

Kinloch Lodge - Cypress Room

Our home is located in Kinloch 20 minutes from Taupo, a short walk from the lake and access to Kinloch's renowned cycling tracks. We have three large guest bedrooms each with ensuite located on the first floor overlooking green vistas. There is a large shared guest TV and entertainment lounge on the first floor opening onto a large private deck with external staircase and access to a Hot Springs spa pool. The back gate opens onto the putting green. A few steps to a fantastic round of golf.

Useless Towers: Private room and bathroom,quiet.

A warm home with a wood-burning fire, heat pumps. Private property of some 2000 sq meters with gardens and lawn areas back and front in a quiet street. Good off-street parking. Five minutes drive from town or a fifteen-minute walk. Ideal for both winter and summer. Useless Towers got the name from good friends who stayed, and the name has stuck. We are sure you will enjoy your stay. There is no cleaning charge. We supply a continental breakfast with the booking. You have a Private bathroom.

We are located at Motuoapa and are close to many activites in the area. 10 minutes walk from Lake Taupo and 10km north of Turangi. Mount Ruapehu is 45 minutes drive away, walking and biking trails close by, including the renowned Tongariro Crossing, numerous rivers, including the Tongariro River for fly fishing. We can also take you fly fishing with gear supplied. We are fully conversant with what is available in the local area.

Self check in We offer a lovely quiet & private stand alone, self contained studio on a rear fully fenced section, you have your own space, perfect for couples, babies catered for too Continental breakfast is included, we don't do gluten/dairy free. We have recently installed a cedar hot tub, our guests have exclusive use of this anytime during the stay. It is not available to friends or family of our guests.

THE MINSION, a cosy studio located in our garden , in beautiful Acacia Bay. Awake to the sound of Tui's and bird song. It is a short walk to Lake, cafe/ restaurant, local store and walking tracks . Our studio is often used and loved by family and friends so has a number of board games, and family memories. We like our property to be smoke/vape free please. We live on site so here to welcome you.
