Bunk in 4 bed dorm at Kinloch Wilderness Retreat

Your bed, in a 4 bed dorm, is part of a lodge nestled lakeside in nature with fantastic views. Our stunning area has many activities to offer including various hikes, jet boat trips, scenic flights, kayaking, horse treks and more. To relax there's a TV room, book exchange and hot tub, especially good for stargazing! If you don't feel like cooking up a feast take a break and dine in our cozy restaurant, we have something for everyone. Please note that we're a 5hr drive from Milford Sound.

Lighthouse Suite - Panoramic Lake Views

Stay in the centre of the action in this one-of-a-kind place. The Lighthouse Suite has a British attic theme with a full turret and stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. Make a cup of tea/Nespresso coffee and enjoy peaceful hours in the sitting room. Window seating allows you to become part of the surrounding bush Enjoy watching "Sweet Girl" (our rather tame New Zealand wood pigeon) eat leaves and berries. Watch the sunrise in Cecil Peak or the Remarkables.

Haka House - Double Shared Bathroom

Set on a residential hillside with views of the surrounding mountains, this relaxed hostel is a 4-minute walk from the shops and eateries of the town centre, and an 11-minute walk from Skyline Queenstown gondola and luge. Private rooms add flat-screen TVs. There's also an apartment with a kitchen, and a private balcony offering mountain views. There's limited complimentary parking. Other amenities include 2 communal kitchens, an informal lounge, a drying room and a terrace.

Double Room - Coronet Peak

Our Standard Double Room at Swiss-Belresort and Villas Coronet Peak can be converted into a twin room upon request. Please contact our team if you'd like this arrangement, though it is subject to availability. If you require an extra bed, it will be an additional $50 per bed per night (subject to availability). Our hotel room is pet-friendly — just let us know so we can pre-allocate your room. A one-time pet fee of $150 applies for the entire stay, regardless of duration.

We have two supermarkets just one minute walk away and the Queenstown town centre is only a five-minute flat walk.
