The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

'Waterside Studio'

'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

Self-contained flat within a family house. Living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, shower room. The flat has its own entrance door which encloses space for your use, no space is shared with anyone else. Beautiful shepherd's hut set in a private, peaceful riverside field, surrounded by fields and woodland. Sleeps 2 in a double bed and is self-contained with fully equipped kitchen (2 gas hobs and grill) and small bathroom with shower and eco loo. A wood burner keeps it very cosy in winter. Lights are powered by a solar panel. Bedding and towels provided, also tea, coffee etc and provisions for breakfast. A perfect place in the Lake District for a romantic break or getaway from modern life!

We have a nice garden with various seating areas where you can chill and relax.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our modern cabin is set in our ten acre small holding close to the south Cumbria beaches and southern Lake District. Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.
