The cottage looks out over the garden where you will sometimes see our resident wallabies and lyrebirds.

Initially it was a semi-detached workers cottage built in the 1870's as accommodation for the employees of the Hartley Kerosene Oil & Paraffine Co.Ltd which was established in Hartley Vale on July 31st 1865.
