Shaftesbury Park is a comfortable artist-owned traditional ground floor flat in a Victorian terraced house with fast wifi and its own little garden. It lies two miles southwest of Edinburgh Castle in a leafy conservation area and is only a short bus ride from all major visitor attractions. A well-stocked delicatessen is just across the road and provides delicious croissants and wines. Active guests love the 30min walk along the scenic Union Canal which takes them straight to the city centre.

One-bed flat with a lovely park view

Our one bed flat is in the centre of the village of Balloch, Loch Lomond, known as the gateway to the north. Both the train station and bus station are only a few minutes walk away and nearby numerous walking, climbing and hiking trails. The cultural venues in the cities of Glasgow and Stirling are approximately 30-40 minutes by car. There is a free carpark across the road from the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor above the shops, cafes and bars in the centre of the village.

Located in the centre of Inveraray only steps from the water, it is just a moments’ walk from the Jail, as well as all the local amenities including bars, restaurants, and shops, not forgetting Inveraray Castle. Inveraray itself is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow. The town is a gateway to the Highlands & Islands and provides a great base for day touring.
