Citrus Cottage is a spacious stand-alone guest house in the heart of Old Towne Orange. It’s a great place for parents of Chapman students to stay while visiting their kids. Within walking distance to the Circle with so many great restaurants and bars that it makes it difficult to choose where to go. The bright and airy décor reflects the charm of Old Towne Orange. It is a quiet, residential neighborhood, so party people should look elsewhere.

Historic "Speak Easy" Cottage (circa 1923)

Vintage beach cottage w/ modern-day conveniences (central heat & A/C), Apple TV, DVD, vintage appliances, incl. dishwasher) on the quiet-end of Balboa Island; tree-lined street, steps to beaches on South Bayfront; 2 blocks to Balboa Island ferry and Island Market. Cottage was built in 1923 and served as a "Speak Easy" (a bar during the prohibition era ) with many famous actors, musicians, singers patronizing the site (John Wayne, James Cagney & Humphrey Bogart) just to name a few.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.

Peace and serenity in the city.
