Come and relax at “The Double MK Ranch” overlooking the vineyard of Dono Dal Cielo. Centrally located between I-80 and Hwy 65 and set within Placer County wine trail. We have two spaces (same price) just specify which room you want to stay in. Our Romantic Suite is attached to the Theater Game Room which is EXCLUSIVE to the Suite. Our additional space is a Tiny Home- full kitchen, full bath and a queen Murphy bed. If the Suite is NOT rented the Tiny home renter WILL have access to the Game Room

PEACE, COMFORT and BEAUTY. You feel peace as you drive up the hill, with a view of Folsom Lake (13 min) and Sacramento (38 min). Yet the happy hubbub of Auburn is only 9 minutes away. Arriving, you enter your peaceful private garden. Inside, true comfort awaits: nourishing sleep, creative cooking, luscious lounging (see amenities). Once settled, relaxing with wine glass in hand, you notice the beauty: the huge oak, hummingbirds, crimson-capped woodpeckers. And then you say, “Aahh, peace.”

Wineries, Apple Hill, cut your own Christmas Tree at numerous Tree Farms, World Class Rafting, Kayaking. It is 1 hour to Skiing/Snowboarding.

Small and Sweet Suite

This private suite has a separate entrance with screen door, kitchenette & bathroom. The Bedroom has a full size bed with quality linens and a 4” Memory Foam topper, fireplace, ceiling & floor fans, t.v., futon & closet. Kitchenette offers the essentials, electric hot pot & skillet, small refrigerator, sink with garbage disposal & microwave/air fryer oven. The “spa-like” bathroom boasts an overhead rain shower head & removable wand combo, a teak bench, shower essentials & fresh linens.

peaceful Creek Cabaan

The surrounding nature provides a stunning and peaceful refuge. You feel as though you're a million miles away. And yet town is only a 5 minute drive, allowing access to anything you might need during your stay. We consider our land a sacred, healing place. Before we built on this property we gave special homage to the Native peoples, and asked for blessings from the spirits to live here. We have discovered grinding rocks, shards of Chinese pottery, and ancient fire pits on the land.

Convenient Quiet Neighborhood

Prime location—just minutes from grocery, food and shopping. The Galleria Mall, Topgolf, and Thunder Valley Casino are a short drive away. Plus, not far from the mountains, making this the perfect home base for rafting, hiking, or skiing. Comfy beds, spacious areas for dining and relaxing, well stocked open kitchen make it ideal for families, groups, or visiting loved ones in the area. “The home was spotless, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.”

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Cozy Tiny House in the Sierra Foothills

This hosted rental is the perfect little getaway in the country. It is located on a mini farm complete with goats, chickens, dogs and a huge garden that you will have access to and is close to ALL the outdoor activities you can think of including hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, hunting and more. We are minutes from world famous trails, 10 minutes from the river, and an hour from the ski slopes. There is just so much to do right outside of our doors!

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
