In the fall, it's surrounded by peaking foliage. The chalet is walking distance to Cannon Mountain and a 5-minute drive to Echo Lake Beach and endless trailheads in Franconia Notch. The Getaway Chalet is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, family-friendly house close to Cannon Mountain in Franconia. The perfect destination for all seasons, it's nestled in the mountains, a 4-minute drive from the ski resort. Cross-country trails are adjacent. Easy access to the state's most beautiful hiking and mountain biking, as well as swimming at Echo Lake and nearby golf. Built by the owner/architect in the early 1960s, it is located on a secondary road with forest views. Equipped with Wifi, a back deck, Juliet balconies on all levels, linens, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and cooking ware.
