Located on acres of farmland, with stunning mountain views of both Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and the surrounding rural landscape. Enjoy the peaceful surrounds, beautiful trees and on site access to walking tracks providing the opportunity to explore this beautiful property. Soak up some of the best views Queenstown has to offer.

Barley Mow - Luxury Escape In The Mountains

Standalone luxury 2 bedroom apartment in a tranquil and private setting, with kitchen & living area on 2 levels and spectacular views of the Shotover River & The Remarkables mountains. Set on 10 acres of park-like grounds, with secure garaging. Barley Mow is in the snowline during winter and 4wd vehicles are strongly advised. We live in the main house which is nearby but a a separate dwelling on the property. We have 2 white cats that roam the property but do not go into the apartment.

An easy 10 mins drive from Queenstown Airport and Frankton / Five Mile shopping areas where you will find multiple supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. The Remarkables and Coronet Peak Ski Fields are also both close by. Being so close to the Shotover River and The Queenstown Bike Trail, you can also bike to the Gibbston Valley wineries, Queenstown, or Arrowtown easily.

Glencairn is situated perfectly between Wanaka and Queenstown allowing you to easily explore the Wakitipu basin during the day and escape to your rural sanctuary at night.

Relax and enjoy a classic English "Shepherds hut", set in a private garden overlooking the Shotover river with Mountain views. Located at historic "Arthur's point". 8 minutes to Queenstown central & 2 minutes to Coronet ski field base. Our "Shepherds hut" cooking facilities, wood fireplace, tv screen for dvd's(no WiFi), books for entertainment and homegrown walnuts to crack. Soak in the outdoor bath. Two bikes provided and a gold pan to take down to the river.
