Our family cabin is located in the small historic town of Raymond in the heart of the Sierra foothills, 39.2 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. The newly built cabin features modern conveniences with a rustic feel.  Experience breathtaking views, beautiful sunsets, hiking, a seasonal creek, an abundance of wildlife, and incredible rock formations to explore.  Up to 2 horses are welcome in our 2 corrals. ON THE WAY TO YOSEMITE. We are just steps from the Yosemite bus stop (YARTS), the Coarsegold Historic Village, three locally owned restaurants, and Zander’s coffee. New! The Mountain Oaks Cafe and bar just opened 150 ft from our door. We are the the only stay RIGHT in historic Coarsegold. The Prospector was built for travelers who wish to enjoy a local feel. The hillside setting provides a mountain camping vibe but with amenities like a Tesla/EV charger, Bluetooth speakers and a hillside spa.

Located 4.2 miles to Bass Lake, 23 miles to Yosemite South Gate Entrance (Mariposa Grove) or 90 minutes to Yosemite Valley. Amenities include stocked kitchen with Keurig, queen bed, sofa bed, and small sleeping loft w/queen mattress. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, stargazing or playing the 6-hole disc golf course.
