The Noddle is a lovely, eco-friendly home on the peaceful, stunning island of Hoy, overlooking Scapa Flow. The house is full of natural light and heated by a Wood Burner + Air Source Heating. The garden leads to it's own Beach, perfect for paddle-boarding, beach- combing and swimming. The land includes a woodland area, wild flowers and river frontage all within 6 acres. Wild life includes: Orca's, Otters, Hen Harriers, Sea Eagles, Seals + many sea birds. On clear nights stars adorn the heavens.

Hoy View is an old croft house which has been carefully and lovingly restored. It is situated in a quiet location along Strathy Point a couple of miles off the North Coast 500 route. We have big skies here, stunning sea views across the Pentland Firth to Orkney (and Isle of Hoy) and along the north coast to Dunnet Head. If you enjoy stargazing you’ll love it here on clear nights as there is no light pollution - and if you’re staying in winter you may be lucky enough to see the northern lights.

A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Ample FREE parking. Late (even midnight) arrival is fine, just let yourself in. Rigorous cleaning always.

Torran Cottage is nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Flow Country! Whilst superbly modernised throughout, the cottage retains its original features, including wonderful flagstone flooring, deep-silled windows set into thick stone walls, and a large wood burner for cosy evenings. The views from the hot tub and gardens are unbelievable. Panoramic vistas look east to Morven and the Scarabens, south to Ben Klibreck and west to distant views of Ben Loyal and Ben Hope.

Armadale Farm Cottage, Armadale Bay

The bones of this cottage are classically Scottish. Joyce Campbell, our lovely owner, has renovated this gorgeous wee home to encapsulate the traditional Scottish feel which we know our guests can't get enough of. Dating back to the early 1800's, Joyce has kept the essential highland feel of this croft in play, while completely rebuilding and refurbing this croft. It sleeps 4 comfortably with 3 bathrooms- so plenty of space! A perfect spot for well behaved dogs on request.

Situated in the heart of John O Groats on the North Coast 500 with breathtaking views across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands making it a perfect base to explore Caithness and Sutherland.
