Ironbark is within easy walking distance of the local township of Maldon as well as the state forest.

Historic Bowes Cottage

A beautiful, historic stone cottage in the heart of the gold fields. simply modernised to maintain an old world ambience and eclectically furnished with family heirloom furniture and special interest collections. It's the way we like it and I'm sure our guests will too. Come for a relaxing weekend, winter or summer, enjoying the surrounding nature and wildlife. The Nissen

The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. Pemberley Cottage is a tranquil self-contained accommodation experience located on a 700 acre grazing property just outside the quaint village of Malmsbury in the Macedon Ranges The stylish cottage provides spectacular water, mountain & farm views; the perfect place to unwind, soak in the outdoor bath, bask in the views or use as a base to explore nearby Kyneton & Daylesford. Guests can expect to be greeted by our inquisitive array of farm pets, including highland cows, sheep & chooks.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Fantastic 3 bedroom home with awesome views of Mount Alexander and surrounds. Plenty of room with a large living room, wood fire, tv / entertainment system, kitchen, deck including entertaining area and bbq downstairs. Upstairs there is another lounge / study, bedroom and toilet. The barn is another entertainment area with a pool table, table tennis, darts, library and a large screen tv all heated and air conditioned.

Red Brick Barn overlooks Forest Creek and surrounding Goldfields heritage bushland. A walking track is at the door for a lovely walk to Wesley hill Saturday market or continue on to explore nearby Castlemaine with it's wonderful Architecture and vibrant café and arts culture. Red Brick Barn is an eclectic mix of European and Early Australian antiques, including French Industrial Furniture and Lighting, Turkish Kilims from Anatolia and rare "Depression" pieces.

In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.
