Llandaff House Van Reenen is 4 bedroom California style house built in 1950's. Perched on the edge of the escarpment with a fabulous view. Laze for days in front of the massive fireplace, or venture out and explore. Start your holiday here on route to the coast or meet friends mid-way from JHB & Durban for a getaway or celebration, or a wedding at the little church just up the road. We also have 3 cottages, Woodlands and The Barn and The Old Barn. Please note - Winter 2026 - Pool will be empty.

It is accessible through 5.5km of unsealed road, 4WD is advised during rain season. We live 100% off the grid, windmill turbine and solar panels generate our electricity. Our micro-farm was set up to be energy conscious while allowing very comfortable and luxury accommodation. We hope that during and after your stay you will feel serene, close to nature and energised.

The Residency

The Residency is a spacious self-catering unit for up to four guests, featuring a king-size bed in the main bedroom and two extra-length ¾ beds in the second bedroom. It offers two bathrooms (one en-suite and a second with a shower) and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, cookware and breakware. Perfect for entertaining, it features a cozy fireplace, air-conditioning, a fully enclosed patio with a braai and entertainment area. There is complimentary wood supplied for your first fire.

Golden Rock Guest Farm

Golden Rock Guest House is the original Schaapplaats Farm house. Comfortable and spacious, ideal for large families (11 guests). Golden Mole and Jemima Puddle Duck Cottages are available in the same garden if more beds are needed. Huge garden, unbelievable mountain views. Exciting walks through the Whimsical Wood, rock pools, cave paintings and mountains. Farm pool. Located on a dirt road, 6kms from Clarens town, close enough for shopping and eating out. 4x4 required in the wet season.

Waterfall River Lodge

This is a unique, comfortable, fully kitted, self-catering house sleeping 8/10 people. Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

R&R Berg Cottage

Nestled in the town of Winterton just below the Central Drakensberg is this lovely solar powered self catering flat. King size bed, single bed, kitchen, Wi-Fi, Netflix and undercover parking. Bathroom has a shower. A short drive away from a variety of sites, hikes and activities in the Berg. Coffee shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Ideal for 3 adults OR 2 adults and 2 kids. Please note: there is a private pool, for hosts only, that isn't fenced off.
