Our retreat is opposite the vast reserve surrounding you with bird song and walks into the lush New Zealand native bush. Approximately 8-10 minute drive to the outskirts of town, Massey University, the IPU Tertiary Institute and to our local Summerhill shopping centre with a supermarket, takeaways, laundry, café’s and restaurants. Palmerston North's CBD is about 13 km's. Your private entrance leads to a guest suite attached to our house with a lounge, separate double and single bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette with basic supplies for preparing meals.

"The Unit" is a Private self contained space away from the main house at the rear of the Garage. It is cosy with views of the countryside. Located 3 minutes up the hill from Taihape township. The Unit gives you all the comforts of home on your journey so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Taihape is a farming town and with the Main Highway going right through it's centre, plenty of choice for dining out. Taihape is commonly Warm summer and cold winter weather. We cater for both.
