Everything here is new—from the deck and outdoor area to the thoughtfully designed interiors—offering a serene escape that feels both private and connected to nature. The Blue Beach House

Come and stay in our awesome and sunny guest house in Mangawhai Heads! Only 15 minutes walk from the estuary beach, the Wood street shops and 30 minutes walk to the popular surf beach! You will love staying here, the apartment has large north facing triple stacker sliding doors that you can leave open to soak in the all day sun! Even in winter you will feel like you are in the middle of summer. You will also enjoy amazing views of the Brynderwyns and fresh fruits from our garden (in season)!

It is especially lovely relaxing on the deck as the sun sets. Perfect for a couple or small family- floor mattress on request. It's a short walk to the shops and a 25-minute drive to Whangarei town basin.

Laughing Horse Lodge - Animal friendly in Waipu

Positioned high in the hills above Waipu Cove, we offer a tranquil and modern animal-friendly base in historic Waipu, close to the beaches and town. The perfect spot to explore sunny Northland. Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

Space includes queen bed, two comfortable chairs, small fridge with tea and coffee bench, and shower and toilet. Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

It has a kitchenette with fridge, hotplates, microwave and a small oven . The spacious deck is prefect for outdoor dining. Relax and enjoy the rural views or head out and explore the area. Waipu township just 10 mins away. Waipu Cove and Uretiti beaches 15-20 mins. Waipu Caves and Piroa Fall are definitely worth a visit too.

Nestled overlooking rolling pastures, hills and lakes this peaceful, semi-rural studio retreat will leave you rested and relaxed. Inside is a comfortable king-bed, ensuite, kitchenette, indoor lounge and outdoor patio. A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

Tranquil cabin close to Matakana and Warkworth

Wake up to birdsong at this private and quiet getaway, that has plenty of nearby activities and attractions. Visit the local vineyards, markets, restaurants, beautiful beaches and local walks. The cosy cabins are less than an hour North of Auckland tucked away at the base of the Dome Valley reserve which is 5 minutes drive from Warkworth and 15 minutes to Matakana.
