In 1907, our lil town was in great excitement as 15 of the finest buffalo arrived by rail in heavy crates from NY to their new home in the Wichita Mountains. Even Quanah Parker was there to witness this historic event. Nestled at the foothills of the mountains, The Lazy Buffalo has 13 individually themed cabins. Also available for use is a pedal boat that seats up to 4 and you can explore the river in it. There is a 2 in 1 washer/dryer that is available on stays of 3 or more. Kitchen has all essentials that you would need.

A 100-Year Old Schoolhouse near Route 66's roar, Rustic and aged, history running through its core. It’s not pristine, by any means! It's worn, and has some dust and some rust, But hospitality here is a must! There is a toilet and sink inside the schoolhouse. The shower is in a separate building close by. Heat is provided by a wood burning stove, with wood. There is also an electric, space heater. There is one King Size bed and one Queen Size bed.
