This newly remodeled farmhouse sits on 14 acres with beautiful views of the 3 acre pond out the front door and the 1/2 acre pond in the back yard. The 4 bedroom, 2 full bath farmhouse sleeps 6 comfortably featuring many modern amenities, brand new updates and unique handmade craftsmanship throughout. The first floor offers a very open floor plan with a fully stocked kitchen. The house features 1 king, 1 queen, & 3 double beds.

2-bedroom apartment has a queen bed in one bedroom, 2 single beds in the second bedroom, & a sofa bed. Walking distance to Tioga River and antique dealers. Nearby - Mansfield University, Wellsboro, PA (home of the Laurel Festival and the Dickens Festival), the PA Grand Canyon, and great hiking, camping, and hunting areas. Please note - 2nd floor - exterior stairs to reach apartment above our detached garage. Our house is next to the garage, but the apartment is totally separate from the house.

Being so secluded, you will find cell reception is minimal until you connect to the WiFi, which makes this place where you want to go to disconnect from the busy everyday life!

Tioga County Base-Camp - "Black Bear Hollow"

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Our cabin is ideal for a quiet get-away for hunting, hiking, shooting, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, fishing & star gazing. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! We normally ask for two nights- however, if you need one night ask & you can possibly snag this lovely place for one night! Light & Lovely Chateau is close to all of the favorite destinations in the northern tier of Pennsylvania including Mansfield University. We try to ensure guests have a wonderful experience!
