Close to Whakatane - a great little town with boutique shopping and dining venues. Come and relax or take the opportunity to do charter fishing or trip to Whale Island. ENJOY!

Can easily accommodate two adults plus 1 child at no extra cost (queen bed + sofa). Own carpark, outdoor kitchen sink with hot/cold water. Toaster, microwave, electric frypan, small BBQ available. Our place is situated at the beautiful Ohope beach, 2 minute walk from a very popular swimming and surfing beach (great for learners), 5-7 minute drive to shops, wharf, golf course, bush walks, restaurant and cafes. Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated at the top of a hill with good views. We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.

The Studio

Welcome to my secluded, peaceful hideaway. The studio is a large open plan space. Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!
