Cheerful 1 bedroom Riverfront A-Frame

Enjoy this unique 1 bedroom/2 bed , 1.5 bath A Frame on the Chocolay River approximately 5 miles from downtown Marquette, just off of HWY M-28. Expect traffic noise. It has aQ bed upstairs with an attached full bath with shower/no tub and a Full size sofa/futon downstairs with a half bath on the main floor. There is a narrow spiral stairway leading upstairs. The washer and dryer and electric sauna are located in the basement which has an outdoor entrance only, accessible by the outdoor stairs.

Perched along the shores of picturesque Sawyer Lake, the Fox Den offers fishing, and water-sports friendly waters. A nature lovers delight, unique birds frequent the property. Evening campfires offer broad clear views of the Milky Way. This quaint property offers use of an on-site dock that can accommodate a pontoon or a boat. There is a boat launch at the adjacent park. Sawyer lake is known for excellent fishing and no watercraft restrictions. In colder seasons warm up by the wood stove.

Da Knob on Lake Independence

Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Centrally located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for magical day trips to Marquette, Munising, Copper Harbor, Iron Mountain, etc. Waterfalls, hiking, fire pit with firewood provided, sauna, computer and charging station, DVD player, dishwasher, coffee and staples provided.
