With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

Upon arrival enjoy a winter walk along the beach and then light the log fire at supper-time. The next morning, sip coffee and watch the winter sun as it rises over the sea. Wrap up warm in hats & scarves and ride the historic lift to the beach below. Enjoy a cosy lunch in a seafront café & browse the menus of restaurants to find the perfect place for your evening meal. This is now a self-contained living area with en-suite facilities. The Annexe is located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Cleveland, which is in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and this is an ideal location for a couple who enjoy the countryside for relaxing, sightseeing, walking or cycling.

The house is light and airy, with touches of colour in each room, A glass sided staircase to minimalise dark areas. The fireplace in the lounge has been opened up to the back room for a decorative feature filled with logs and a light for ambiance in the evening. You can also see through to the back garden. Very special, cosy, really tiny ,stone cottage nestled in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park near Whitby. The Nest has a Log burner, central heating, WIFI,smart TV, Egyptian linen and twinkling fairy lights ,. Walks onto the moors from the front door , seating area outside to watch the sun go down with a large glass of wine, welcoming family pub across the road, Co-op, and fine dining pub also in the village. Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

There is a back courtyard where you can enjoy a BBQ, with ample storage for your bikes or other outdoor equipment. We supply buckets & spades for the children, perfect for picnics on the award winning beach which is 5 minute walk away.

Relax with the whole family at our delightful house just a short walk from miles of unspoilt beach. Beachcomber has been lovingly renovated to provide a comfortable and cozy home from home. There are two double bedrooms with king-size beds, a room with bunks and two single sofa-beds in a room that can be a bedroom but otherwise is a peaceful second living room. There are two bathrooms, both with stand-alone showers and one with a large sunken bath. There is also a toilet downstairs.
