Two separate rooms creating a family space sleeps up to 5 people including 2 kingsize and 1x single beds in a large airy sun filled space. Windows allow views of surrounding fields and a large velox window views of the Waterfall. The style is gorgeous with its hand hewn beamwork, limewashed floor planks and lime puttied walls, with duck blue occasional chairs, wood tablen table and linen sofa. This room doubles as a bridal suite with its glass chandelier accessory and lux woolen throws.

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Watershed - Lake Karapiro

Our house has an attached guest suite and is located two minutes walk from the lake and Don Rowlands centre, licenced Podium Cafe, boat ramp . You cannot get closer. We are 20 mins from Hobbiton, 25 mins to world famous Hamilton Gardens, 55 mins to Rotorua, and 40 min to Waitomo caves. A great 2-3 day round trip. The unit has two bedrooms with ensuites, its own lounge area and kitchenette . Room 1 has a King size bed and Room 2 two king singles. There is also a double sofabed.

Also home to the Mighty River Domain which features outstanding water sports facilities. 15 mins to Takapoto Estate. 25 mins to the Mystery Creek Events centre and 25 mins from Hamilton. Walking distance to the lovely Boat Shed café. A perfect oasis for a weekend away, longer stays available on request.
