You will hear birds sing, wind blowing the leaves of the birch tree and watch fish in the creek from kayaks or on our private trails.Our cabins are a place to reconnect. Also a first choice area for outdoor activities! World class fly fishing, hunting,snow machining,dog sled tours, skiing,hiking,rafting and more! Forest Yurt

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

Our spacious deck overlooks the lake with built-in seating. Kayak or paddleboard, chill around the propane fire pit or cuddle up inside with the woodstove (supplemental, cabin has a forced air furnace!) 2 bedrooms, small room has a King bed, larger room has 2 Queen beds. Get ready to RELAX, you're on lake time!

The views from the large windows and deck are stunning. Try some fishing, skating, kayaking, swimming or walk the trails. Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? In winter, you'll be close to Hatcher Pass, Skeetawk Ski Area, and all the winter recreation opportunities available in the area.

15 miles north of Anchorage our property is 4 acres of woodlands with a view of the mountains and frequent visits from Alaska wildlife. We live within 5 miles of 7 different public access lakes & are between Anchorage & the Matanuska Susitna Valley. There is additional off street parking for a boat and/or RV. We also have several canoe's available for our guests use.
