Our holiday home provides extended living space for larger groups or families consisting of a 3 bedroom villa and a self contained bungalow. The retreat boasts an amazing outdoor entertaining area and pool. The point of difference with Te Pitaka is the airconditioning provided in the living areas and most of the bedrooms. A beachfront is overated, a house in the mountain?

Te Maunga Are is surrounded by trees and the peaceful sounds of Rarotonga’s nature. Named by our family, with some poetic licensing, the house up the mountain or the mountain house. During your stay, you may be lucky enough to be woken by confused crowing roosters, chase away a homeless cat and meet a family of mosquitos also on vacation (yes, all 3 generations). Luckily we have screens to keep them at bay. Te Maunga Are was our home until recently and now we are happy to share it with you.

Tanias offer excellent value for one or two families traveling together. The newly constructed home is two, two bedroom homes that share one very thick concrete wall, each side a mirror image of the other. Both homes have covered verandas and out door seating, thru the ranch sliders the homes open up to spacious dining and living areas, with full modern kitchens at the back. To the sides are the two bedrooms and bathroom.
