Inside, you will find a generously sized kitchen & oversized table in the huge dining room which opens onto a patio & large fenced yard. Whether you’re here to kayak, cast a line, or just kick back with a book and a breeze, you’ll find plenty to love. Located in one of Detroit’s most unique—and real—neighborhoods. This is a revitalization zone with character: some blight, sure, but also a strong sense of community, and a refreshingly diverse, welcoming vibe.

Newly renovated northside Ann Arbor apartment

The unit is a renovated space in our lower level with a separate entrance at the rear of the house in a quiet residential northside Ann Arbor neighborhood. As you enter the space, there is a shared laundry/mud room (with me) then you enter the apartment through a locked french door off the laundry. There is a family room with queen size futon and TV, a large bedroom w/queen bed, closet, desk and dresser, NEW egress window, kitchen w/ fridge, microwave, oven & coffee maker, and a full bathroom.

Secluded home-away-from-home with a cook's kitchen

Unwind at this renovated mid-century home, Hillside Manner. It is surrounded by woods, so feels private. You can eat in the cathedral dining area, or on the back patio in the warmer seasons. The mattresses & pillows are memory foam, the Amazon Smart TV is connected to Wi-Fi, and the large kitchen offers anything you need. Perfect for families and groups of friends, the 3 bdrms can sleep up to 6 guests. *Host occupies first floor apartment, which is totally separate. No parties of more than 10!

Plymouth Home Away From Home

This is a private guest suite (FULL lower level walkout - approx 1,750 sq ft) within our larger 3-story occupied home. A comfortable home-away with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, living room, and kitchen with full-frig, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric range, toaster oven, microwave and counter that seats 6. New mattresses, bedding, pillows, and towels. Guests welcome to use back patio area with natural fire pit, covered pavilion with gas fire feature, grill and hot tub. Great Wifi and Smart TV.

Perched on a bluff overlooking the Huron river and the Ann Arbor cityscape beyond, it feels removed but that’s the beauty of it: it’s a 5 minute walk to Kerrytown and the farmers market, 10 min to downtown, 5-min Uber to the big house.
