Donkeys Rosie and Mollie and the sheep roam peacefully in the adjoining meadows. The Cartlodge makes an ideal base for exploring the countryside with the market town of Woodbrige and and the popular Sutton Hoo site just 10 miles away.

The apartment/studio is located at the rear of Mulberry Barn, adjoined by a large double garage. It’s self contained and extremely quiet and has views over fields and our garden. Our home is set in 3 acres and in a rural setting. The bedroom is located on a mezzanine(low ceiling so not great for tall people) and has a Paddle/space savings stairs. Private outside eating area, secluded and wonderfully peaceful. Electric gate and security cameras. We have two dogs and one cat, all very friendly

We are 25 mins from Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket. Accessible to the local village pub and shop which is 5 mins drive. Swallow Barn is situated off a quiet lane in a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside and wildlife. Close to Bury St Edmunds and Diss, an ideal semi-rural base for exploring East Anglia and the cities of Norwich and Cambridge. Our comfortable and quiet cottage annexe provides a well-equipped place to stay for a self-catering short break or longer, with wi-fi included. The comfortable sitting room looks out onto the private garden where there is a small patio containing outdoor chairs and table. The ensuite bedroom (double-bed) has a vaulted ceiling and ample storage.
