It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Cozy home outside Tromsø, Sommarøya.

Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request. Cosy cabin by the sea. Located in a calm area containing family cabins. A perfect area for watching the Northern lights with no distraction from cars and neighbours. Only peace and quiet. You can drive your car right up to the cabin where you can easily park. In the winter i recommend a 4wd car because of a steep road
