Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months.

Our STUDIO is furnished with a queen bed and sofa bed (full), bath w claw foot tub and ocean view deck, TV, & off-street parking. Dog friendly! Our property is a collection of former out-buildings for the Glendessary Manor estate of poet and composer, Robert Cameron Rogers. The Cozy Stone Cottage was originally a pump house for the beautiful water tower which you can see from the front garden. You’ll love its rustic atmosphere and the warm cozy feeling of The Stone Cottage, separate bedroom, small gas fireplace stove, and sweet patio to sit and relax or eat a meal. Our cottage is completely private providing private entrance and parking on our driveway. Private bathroom, small fridge, coffee machine, tea pot, toaster, and microwave . We are close to the beach with a 10 minute walk, famous jacks bagels, sprouts, Trader Joe’s, cvs pharmacy, restaurants like Thai food, fast foods , Mexican restaurants. Our goal is to create the perfect environment for solo travelers, families and couple, etc.
