Crazy Horse & Custer traveled this way to Devils Tower. This tipi can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Each tipi has as two burner stove, 3 gallons of water, a pot, coffee fixing things, a propane lantern and a solar lantern. There is no electricity on the property and an outdoor solar shower available if desired. Sleeping places (pad, sheets, blankets and pillows) can be set up for a total fee of $30 for 4 payable on arrival; more available for $10. Please request this when making a reservation.

Outdoor activities include hiking, snowshoeing, sledding and only five minutes from Devils Tower. Wildlife and livestock can be seen around the property. Warm up by the wood stove on cold days and enjoy dinners on the deck during warm days. All pets must be approved by host before your stay, failure to do so will result in loss of deposit.

Looking to get away from it all? This cozy log cabin sits alone on a rise overlooking fields of sunflowers, where the deer & antelope graze and Kara Creek runs lazily through the valley. Guests are welcome to hike, fish Kara Creek, or fish the 11 acre pond stocked with trout (many over 20 inches) and large mouth bass. Beautiful 80-acre working hobby farm nestled in the Bear Lodge Mountains with access to the Black Hills National Forest. This site has a fully fenced area to ensure your privacy and deny access to the farm animals. Inside your fenced area you will be able to relax with nap in the hammock, enjoy a meal outside, read a book under the oak trees, tell stories around the fire pit, or take a walk on a meandering nature trail. This area has dedicated Starlink WiFi.

Garden Level Apartment

Enjoy a garden level apartment in the lower level of our home, with private entrance and off street parking. Quiet, cozy, clean and comfortable. You are welcome to relax in the back yard with small pond and firepit, shady trees and wildflowers (minus flowers and shade in winter of course). The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.
