The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage. Which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). Escape to the quiet woods of Mount Desert Island in a modern retreat within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park. The house is located on the quiet side of the island, 1/2 mile off of Rt. 198. As you depart 198 a gravel road takes you through dense forest, leaving behind the street noise and summer rush. When you arrive you are surrounded by woods with not another house in sight. If you are looking to be in town, this is not it. We are within walking distance of everything.

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Welcome to Hidden Retreat! My goal is to make sure my guests are comfortable, happy and have everything they need! Your small private studio is approximately 10x14 plus the bathroom. Be aware that the room is small and has a private entrance. This room has a small kitchenette, microwave and refrigerator plus some other amenities. Coffee, tea and a few snacks are provided for your comfort. The bed is a queen size bed, which I'm told is very comfortable!!
